Words seem so meaningless at this time; but may I extend my heartfelt sympathy for all those lost, and their families, who shall need all the love, compassion, and help which this world can provide.
This website is lovely and to those that created it, thank you.

We cannot imagine the devestation that you are all experiencing.
We were on Phi phi beach on boxing day 2003 with our 5 children.
We are so grateful to have seen beautiful south of Thailand before the devestation.
We are currently selling our possessions to get back out there as soon as possible hopefully within the next
9 months or so. We can only offer our time and our shoulders I know you will all need far more than
that and it is a very small gift.

Sending you love, strength luck and lullabies,

It is amazing to see how much things in life we have taken for granted, and I was so depressed when I first heard the news of what happened. I was totally in disbelieved, on how low the initial estimates and assessments of the devastation. I was even more disappointed that help was not mobilised immediately as I was pretty sure that the satellites pictures would have revealed the impact of the tragedy.

However disappointed I am, I am truly touched with all the stories and responses that the world communities had overwhelming responded after they knew the impact of the tragedy.

I am even more convinced now that globalisation of economies will not only affect jobs or social demograhics, but also consequently the natural endowments of the planet called earth.

I just returned from a business trip from a city that is so polluted, because of extraordinary economic growth. At the same time, I watched a documentary in my hotel room on the warning of why aren't people be extremely concern about the future habitat and what will become of their children.

The Tsunami just proved one truth, that is there is really no borders or frontiers in the planet called earth. Take heed of the warning of nature, or we will definitely re-live the catastrophe of what happen to the dinosaurs! The possibilty is not remote, but truly proven.

For those of us who are alive and well, please be responsible moving forward. Hope that time will heal those afflicted, and I know how difficult because today is the eleventh death anniversary of my dear younger sister, who lost her fight to cancer at the age of 34.

Regardless of what happened, I am always hopeful of humanity. Let's share and help each other as citizens of the planet earth. May GOD have mercy on our souls.

I am so sorry for all that you are going through. It hurts to see the awful pictures on TV and not be able to do anything to help. I will always keep all of you and those that were lost, in my thoughts and prayers.

The only positive that this global tragedy has produced is that it has proven to us all that there are still good people living in this world. It warms my heart to see so many people from all over the world coming together as one nation, regardless of color, race or religion, offering help and comfort to the victims of this terrible tragedy.

There is still kindness in this cruel world afterall...

May the dead rest in peace - we will not forget you.

My prayers and thoughts are with all the victims of the tsunami tragedy. My heart goes out to all the children,
to all the moms and dads, to all the aunts and uncles, to all the grandparents, to all the friends that have gone
on to heaven and the ones that must live on without them. My hope is a picture that I see in my mind of Jesus pulling the little ones up to heaven with a smile and the children being happy to be home again.
Even though it is hard for us here on this earth, I believe that we will all be together in eternity forever.

There are some things we just do not understand. You wonder why these things are allowed to happen. But I guess we just have to have hope and pray to God that the loved ones remaining will have some peace soon.
That their live and homes can be rebuilt. My prayers go out to you.

My heart and soul go out to all the victims' families. It is so hard to put into words the sorrow that I feel for all of you. We do not understand the reason why but one day it will be made clear to us. Your loved ones may be gone, but they will never be forgotten. Keep them in your heart and stay stong through all of this. I know it will not be easy but your loved ones would not want you to let this tradgedy affect your lives any more than it already has. I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers. I hope that one day the sun shines again upon your life It will be there waiting for you. You will just have to raise the curtains when you are ready.

Words are hard to come up with to adequately express the great sorrow, grief and empathy we share with our brothers and sisters in the affected areas - we watch with horror on our nightly news, but you who are living through it, well, I just wish I was there myself to be with you all and help in anyway. It's very heartwarming to see the International Community step forward and help so quickly, as well as Charities, Organizations and individuals.
My love and prayers are with you all!

Hope Central

It is usually when a severe tragedy occurs that mankind realizes our similarities as opposed to our differences...no matter from what country, the color of our skin, the sounds of our children, our native language; our hearts speak the same language...despair, anguish, grief, pain, the tragedy of losing a loved one, especially that of our children, that all mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters unite from all over the globe and pour ourselves into helping the homeless, the sick, the lost, and burying our dead that we feel the same pain on a worldwide scale...Brothers and Sisters, we hear you loud and clear...We will never forget you who lost their lives and you whom are left to pick up after losing your whole families...I for one will keep you all in my heartfelt and somber prayers...From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this memorial so we have a place to go to voice our grief and profound sadness for all who mourn the loss of lives that fateful day...And I know that without the computers and satellites in space, we who are on the other side of the globe would have had no idea this happened until a weeks' passing...technology has enabled us to view this tragedy litterally within minutes of happening...and the plans to help were put into motion very quickly after the tsunami...God Bless You Brothers and Sisters and know our prayers and love ascend to heaven for you all...In Jesus name, Amen.
