Online Depression Test

For this test, you will need a pencil and paper to calculate your score. The point value to each question is listed by the answer you chose. Simply add the points to find your total. The meaning of your total result is listed below the test.

Total Scores of 0-10

Your total test results are not consistent with clinical depression. We all get sad and have "blue" periods in our lives, but if it continues for a significant period of time, consult your doctor.


Total Scores of 10-20

It appears that you are experiencing some of the symptoms of depression. You should seek a professional evaluation with a mental health provider if the symptoms persist, or if you have ever had thoughts of suicide.


Total Scores of 20-25

Your total test results indicate a high likelihood that you are suffering from clinical depression. You should seek a profession evaluation with a mental health provider immediately.


Total Scores of 25-30

It appears that you are suffering from clinical depression due to your test total. You might be at risk of harming yourself, and should contact help immediately.
