    Available Positions Within SMHAI:

    SMHAI is a new organization. Building the most powerful and the most recognized, worldwide suicide and mental health organization is a huge, difficult task. There are several open positions for researchers, speakers, mental health professionals, those who work with the mentally ill or suicidal - such as prison, jail personnel or transitional housing personnel and etc., survivors left behind after a suicide, and other lay persons.

    From the ground up!
    This is the best time to get involved. You will play a major role in how the organization is formed and shaped. Your decisions and ideas will guide the direction of SMHAI.

    We are seeking individuals to form our medical advisory board, researchers, qualified persons to head our Associates Division, persons to fill the Assistant Director and other positions in our Mental Health Division, person or persons to be our librarians and several other positions. It is our goal to fill these postions with individuals who have a variety of ideologies.

    All positions will run indefinitely or until you no longer wish to serve as a SMHAI representative. You also will not have to pay membership dues, your entrance to conferences will be at no charge (only CEU's will be of cost to you), and you will receive the full benefits in which paying memberships also enjoy.

    Complete and careful consideration will be taken with each and every application.
