Heaven's Treasures
This site sheds light on death, afterlife, after-death communication, angels, spirits, spiritualism, grief, loss & healing, and is primarily intended for anyone whose soul is filled with grief over the loss of a loved one. There is far more out there for us all, than our short time here on Earth. The key is to move towards acceptance, healing, moving on, and finding happiness and peace within ourselves once again. It is my hope that within these pages, you will find the inspiration, courage and strength you need to overcome your struggles, fears and pain, and gain a new appreciation for the life you are blessed with. If nothing else, may you realize that you are not alone in everything you are going through, everything you experience, and everything you feel.

The Bereavement Journey
The Bereavement Journey is a place where anyone who has lost a loved one can find support. As you travel on your bereavement journey we are here to help you every step of the way. Our promise to you is that the pain diminishes and you will one day find pleasure in life, although nothing can compare to the happiness that you had when your loved one was still alive. You will always love and miss your loved one until you meet them again. Until that time comes, may you find the support you need here.

Hope, Despair and the Triumph of Life
Dedicated to all Survivors, and the great people who offer their support and understanding. A special dedication to, and in loving memory of those who never had the chance to find the happiness they deserved. We Love you, and will always remember you.
Remember and respect your Inner Child.

Helpful site in memory of Bill Clayton
This website is in honor of one of my two sons, Bill Clayton. Bill was openly bi-sexual. In April of 1995, he was assaulted in a hate crime here in Olympia, WA (USA). On May 8, 1995 Bill committed suicide, despite loving support from his family, friends and many wonderful people in our community. Bill was 17 years old. He was a bright, warm and creative young man. He is greatly missed.
Please remember him, and speak out to end discrimination, hate speech and violence against people who are gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgendered -- and against anyone for any reason. My site focuses mostly on GLBTQ issues, but it is all connected. We are all connected. And silence is where the hate grows.

Psychwatch
Psychwatch began in April, 1998 as a weekly email Newsletter detailing events and internet-related developments in the mental health field. It has since evolved into a global communication and information network, providing information to those in the healthcare and mental health care fields. The Psychwatch Newsletter has a readership of over 12,000 professionals and students in at least 75 different countries. Our website continues to expand, and Psychwatch continues to develop into new areas to better serve its audience.
Fritz Galette and Chris Nuesell are life-long friends, colleagues, and received their degrees from Fordham University in New York.

Coloring Therapy
Meditation? Coloring?
Many people find meditation difficult to attain even though the benefits are well documented. In Coloring Therapy, the state of awareness sought through meditation is easy because the focus needed occurs in the coloring. This state (suspended inner dialogue) is one of the main purposes of meditation and Coloring Therapy. Once inner dialogue is recognized, it can be managed and life can be influenced in a direction that is decidedly beneficial.

Ontario Suicide Prevention Network
The Ontario Suicide Prevention Network has grown through word of mouth. People attending workshops, seminars, and training within their local areas have heard about the Network. They have passed on information to their colleagues, family, neighbours, etc. helping membership to grow from twenty to over two hundred.
Network Members have had meetings wherever and whenever requests for information on suicide prevention have been made. These educational activities have brought together many groups and individuals working in the field of suicide prevention who otherwise would not have been aware of each other's efforts. This ensures that everyone in Ontario has the ability to find out more about suicide prevention.

PIPS
PIPS has come to stand for, 'Public Initiative for the Prevention of Suicide and Self-harm'. Last year a number of groups and individuals from within the North Belfast Partnership's, 'Health and Well-being Forum', came together, concerned at the increasing spiral of incidents of suicide and self-harm. The name was originally chosen because it was recognised that, although statistics were an alarming and driving factor, they shouldn't obscure the individual experience of tragedy. PIP was the nickname of one young person who died in this way and was chosen to personalise the project and keep a focus; that it is about people and their suffering, all of whom have a name. The aim has been to raise awareness and to educate, provide support for those left behind and those at risk, and to encourage from within the community the development of a co-ordinated strategy in partnership with all those whose responsibility, work, or simply genuine concern, is the emotional health and well-being of people.

QPR Institute
For the general public, the QPR Institute and its over 1,200 certified trainers offer suicide prevention training throughout the United States. Schools, service clubs, fire departments, churches, youth groups, and hundreds of other organizations have received the QPR gatekeeper training program. In just over five years, more than 250,000 Americans in 40 states have received this life-saving training.

For professionals treating suicidal people we offer a variety of training opportunities and materials (including self-study courses) to improve suicide risk detection, assessment and management skills. We offer suicide risk management inventories and protocols available for those working with adults of all ages, those working with children and adolescents and those treating suicidal people in inpatient and residential settings. We also offer training programs for those who work with survivors of suicide and other trauma.

Columbia University TeenScreen® Program
The Columbia University TeenScreen® Program works by creating partnerships with schools and communities and helping them to implement their own screening programs to identify at-risk teens and pre-teens. The program is now used in high schools and other settings in 26 states. It was developed under the leadership of David Shaffer, M.D., the Director of the Columbia University's Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Our vision is to advance public awareness of mental health issues, as to eleminate the stigma of depression and other mentaldisorders.

Bipolar Survivor.com
Bipolar Survivor.com was created as an adjunct to the book, Dear World: A Suicide Letter, written by Paul Jones, one of the founders of this site. Its purpose is to educate and inform not only individuals with bipolar disorder, but also the families and friends who suffer from this illness. Stigma is real and the many misconceptions about mental illness are not likely to change overnight. However, increased awareness of bipolar disorder can help to eradicate the stigma associated with it. As long as we keep mental illness a secret, the community cannot learn the truth about mental illness and its effects on families.

"It's critical that we increase awareness of the devastating impact bipolar disorder can have if left untreated to encourage greater diagnosis and treatment."
~ Mark Frye, MD, UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine
