All SMHAI Awards Program Judges promise to follow the following ethics guidelines to maintain the integrity and honor of the program and to ensure that all applicants are treated in a fair and unbiased manner.

* Judges will treat each applicant with respect and dignity at all times.
* Set criteria for SMHAI Awards Program and to adhere to the criteria.
* SMHAI Awards program will clearly post the program criteria and eligibility standards.
* Allowing all eligible applicants, whom meet or exceed our criteria and eligibility standards, to submit their sites for evaluation.
* Judges will evaluate each eligible site with the same evaluation standards in their individual site class class and in keeping with the criteria specified.
* Evaluation of all sites will be done within six weeks of the application submission.
* Any Judge that has a conflict of interest with any applicant, will recuse themselves from evaluating that particular site.
* Posting applicant status on our site will be done in a timely manner. Such posting will be done in a respectful way and will not divulge the applicant's full identity.
* No criticism will be expressed towards the award applicants.
* No discrimination of applicants will be shown to applicants on the grounds of race, sex, national origin, age (see C.O.P.P.A. Regulations), disability, or in any other manner.
* There will be no sharing of award applicants' personal information with any outside sources.
* SMHAI Awards Program will not award any sites that promote or contain items that may be considered discriminatory or illegal.
* SMHAI Awards Progam will do everything necessary and required to uphold the integrity and honor of the program.
* Favors of any sort, offered to SMHAI Awards Program to gain preferential treatment of an applicant, will not be tolerated. Applicants displaying this type of behavior will be barred from our awards program.
* SMHAI Awards Program assures awards graphics will be no larger that 165 x 195 pixels or 22 kb.
